THE TEAM

We are a team of Chartered Physiotherapists , Registered Osteopaths , Sports Therapists, massage specialists and dietician/nutritionists with vast experience in the treatment of muscle, tendon, ligament and bone conditions and health issues that have associated nutritional concerns. We are a highly experienced team with many of our therapists having worked within varying environments such as elite sports team and events but also within a variety of hospital settings such as neurology, respiratory and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Our therapists are approachable, honest and skilled which has helped to build our reputation within the local community and beyond.

Sophie Richardson

Clinic Lead Soft Tissue Therapist and Exercise Rehabilitation

Sophie is a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. She has vast experience in sport and is the former soft tissue therapist for the current european champion England women’s football team. Sophie travelled with the team for their international matches and was part of the medical team at the France 2019 World Cup where the team reached the semi finals unluckily losing to the USA. Sophie is the lead soft tissue therapist at the clinic and works closely with Andrew Buckley, implementing the rehabilitation exercise and program design and coordinating pilates classes. Away from work, she enjoys running and competing in triathlons and looking after her 3 children.

James Pritchard

Physiotherapist BSc hons PG Cert Injection therapy HPCP CSP

Prior to joining Team Buckley, James spent eight successful years serving on board submarines in the Royal Navy. He has a particular interest in posture, ergonomics, Pilates and lower limb rehabilitation and acupuncture. His sports and hobbies include open-water scuba diving, triathlons, running, snowboarding and travelling the world. James is qualified in Musculoskeletal injection therapy and carries out numerous steroid injections here at the clinic to help alleviate pains which may not be responding to traditional treatments.

Victoria Clayson

BSc Sports Therapy : Deep Soft Tissue & Sports massage and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Victoria joined the team in 2022 and is one of our highly qualified deep soft tissue and massage therapists. She completed her degree in sports therapy . She is an important part of the team and works closely with all of the team in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal pain and delivering soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation strategies.

She has provided massage and Sports therapy for numerous prestigous events both here in the UK and Europe. Victoria is keen runner and takes part in Hyrox events both here in the UK and abroad.

Megan Grosvenor

Sports/ Remedial Massage Therapist , Pilates and Personal trainer

Megan is a valued member of the Team and joined the team in 2018. Not only does she provide massage for adults but has a specialist interest in Pregnancy massage, Hot Stones and Indian Head Massage. Megan is keen fitness enthusiast and enjoys crossfit and weight lifting. Megan also coaches strength & conditioning and Pilates here at Team Buckley and is our resident personal trainer. Megan has keen interest in all areas of women's health.

Will Beck

Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) HPCP CSP

William achieved a first class honours physiotherapy degree from the University of Brighton. He is a keen Cricket player and specialises in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. William is also trained in delivering Shockave therapy , gait analysis and foot scan.

You will often find William training and competing with Andrew Buckley in HYROX event in the UK and Europe. When not working and competing he enjoys cooking.

Ruth Buckley and Rosa Buckley

Rosa Buckley – Clinic secretary/director

Rosa is Andrew Buckleys wife and clinic secretary. She assists in all aspects of the day to day running of the clinic

Colin Clarke assistant manager

Colin is Our assistant manager and keeps the front of house lively and full of fun both for the team and patients. He is always there to answer any questions you may have.

George Ashby

BSc Sports Therapist,Soft tissue specialist & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

George joined the team in June 2021 and is also a Sports Therapist for Crystal Palace Football club and Dover Athletic Football Club and works with all ages and highly regarded by his colleagues and patients. George assists our team by providing advanced rehabilitation exercise and general musculoskeletal assessment and treatment/Sports & deep soft tissue massage. George specialises in the of Knee ligament , Shoulder and spinal rehabilitation. He also provides Gait analysis , Foot scan, Shockwave and personal training specific to injury and rehabilitation.

Alex Pouros

Osteopath BSc Hons & Sports Therapist

Alex has been with the team for over 16 years and a very experienced Osteopath & Sports therapist. Alex has a great interest in core stability. During his spare time he enjoys a few rounds of Golf and kept very busy with his two young children.

Alex is an excellent diagnostician , meticulous in assessment and is also highly trained in Spinal Manipulation and Gait analysis /Foot scan.

Andrew Buckley

Specialist Chartered Physiotherapist , Osteopath & Musculoskeletal Sonographer MSc BSc Dip PG Cert MCSP HPCP GoSC

Andrew is a qualified Osteopath , Physiotherapist (University of Brighton & Bath) , Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging (University of East London) and also holds Masters level qualification in Spinal Trauma and Orthopeadics (University of Salford) , Upper Limb trauma and Orthopeadics (University of Southampton). Andrew also holds qualifications in Acupuncture , Fitness Training and Sports Therapy. He acts as an expert witness. Andrew works with Kent and Medway Medical School teaching MSK ultrasound Imaging and also provides placements for their students.
